LA PRESIÓN CONTRA LOS DESPIDOS EN HP LLEGA A LA COMISIÓN EUROPEA

Con la huelga aún reciente e inmersos de lleno en periodo vacacional, proseguimos con la campaña 'contra los despidos y por el empleo en HP a través de diversas vías, entre ellas la política. Izquierda Unida ha presentado una pregunta a la Comisión Europea que hace referencia a los planes de despidos de Hewlett Packard. Por su parte, el Partido Socialista ya ha pedido la comparecencia del Ministro de Industria para abordar el espinoso asunto de los despidos en HP, al tiempo que ha registrado sendas preguntas en el Congreso. La presión sobre la multinacional va creciendo y en este momento se encuentra en el PUNTO DE MIRA de la sociedad y de los políticos.

Desde hace tiempo desde CC.OO en HP venimos desplegando nuestro trabajo de interlocución con los diversos partidos políticos, a quienes hemos informado del delicado futuro del empleo en HP, con el objetivo de que ejerzan presión sobre la dirección de la multinacional y que ésta desista de sus políticas de despidos indiscriminados y de precarización de las condiciones laborales. El terreno político es uno más de los MÚLTIPLES FRENTES en los que estamos trabajando. Hasta la fecha, hemos mantenido sendas entrevistas con Chunta Aragonesista, Izquierda Unida, Unión Progreso y Democracia, Partido Socialista y Partido Aragonés. El objetivo perseguido: realizar todas las gestiones que lleven a acciones preventivas, en Aragón y en España, a fin de evitar despidos forzosos en Hewlett Packard.

El trabajo siempre da resultados. Fruto de los contactos con Izquierda Unida (IU) desde principios de año, y tras nuestra petición expresa al diputado Alberto Garzón el pasado mes de marzo, el eurodiputado Willy Meyer ha presentado una pregunta a la Comisión Europea en referencia a la deslocalización y a los planes de despidos que HP está aplicando en Europa, citando concretamente el caso del centro de Zaragoza, uno de los centros con puestos amenazados.

¿DÓNDE ESTÁ LA RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL CORPORATIVA DE MULTINACIONALES COMO HP?
El eurodiputado, en un texto contundente, denuncia la "vampírica estrategia" de la multinacional de instalarse, recoger sus beneficios, y marcharse hacia la siguiente frontera, dejando miseria, desempleo y desindustrialización. "Nos encontramos ante otro caso de multinacionales que deslocalizan su producción con la intención de recortar costes laborales. ¿Dónde está esa supuesta responsabilidad social corporativa? Estas multinacionales aprovechan las magníficas condiciones que les brinda la última reforma laboral del PP para deshacerse de sus trabajadores sin mirar atrás" afirmó Willy Meyer.

Willy Meyer asegura estar harto "de ver como las multinacionales vienen a España atraídas por numerosos incentivos ofrecidos por la administración pública y tras unos años dichas compañías pasan a otro país donde les resulta más barato producir". 

Desde CC.OO. ya le hemos planteado a los partidos, como una de las propuestas a tener en cuenta en el futuro, la IMPERIOSA NECESIDAD de que en los contratos públicos con multinacionales del tipo HP SE INCLUYAN CLAÚSULAS ESPECÍFICAS DE SALVAGUARDA DEL EMPLEO en el país, para contrarrestar los procesos deslocalizadores desarrollados al margen de toda ética por esta clase de multinacionales para llenarse aún más los bolsillos.
